On this episode of Into The Fire: A True-Crime Podcast, our host Sean talks about one of the most notorious serial killers in United States history, The Green River Killer Gary Ridgway.
Ridgway was linked to the deaths of 48 young women, who were strangled to death around Seattle and Tacoma, Washington. Police discovered the bodies of many of Ridgeway’s victims naked along the river bank, which earned him the name “Green River Killer“.
It took nearly 20 years for The Green River Killer to be caught. Gary Ridgway committed the majority of his murders between the years of 1982 and 1984.
He is currently serving a life sentence of 480 years at Washington State Penitentiary in the state of Washington. It is believed that Gary Ridgway is responsible for over 100 homicides.
